Cute and cuddly and ready to snuggle up to, Lamkins makes a lovely bedtime buddy for toddlers (and even for little babies… just use safety eyes or better still, sew French knots instead of beads for the eyes.) Lamkins also makes a great gift for expectant mums. I once made a pair of lambs for a friend who was expecting twins and in true Aussie fashion, they were christened Bruce and Sheila. Lamkins is a simple pattern and would be easy even for a beginner. Fleece gives the best cuddliest feel but any stretch fabric should do.

Recommended Fabrics

Fleece, of any type, stretch fabrics eg. velour, chenille and flannelette, for the body. Any fabric scraps, including quilting scraps for inner ear highlights.
